It's New Year's eve! Mone asked me to go for countdown party and hotel stayover but Dad won't allow coz he said things can go rowdy and uncontrolled..so what can i do for new year's eve?? stay at home and watch countdown concert on tvbs =)

tracia's redbox party and winter warmers

Tracia invited us to her early birthday at Redbox yesterday, so me fetched Kp and Simone. we were so late that tracia called us to aask where we were. simone answered the call for me and said in hokkien "lang eh Michelle driving la, ka ban" yaya, compared to mone i drive super slow =) kp said " lang pui('fei' in mandarin) tiao ki liao" LOL so funny wei...

reached there at 4.20 lidat coz i took some time finding for a parking lot and to do the reverse parking, with the expert ms Simone giving me advise "Look at your side, turn your steering to the left, nono, to the right, press the acceleratorm etc.."

so we went into our room at 5.30 coz we're waiting for Florence. go in for a while, the waiter came in and asked us to move to another room. all of us, each with our glasses walked to another room. the whole scenario was as if we were trying to escape from the cops in a nightclub*exaggerating*
moved into a much bigger room and started singing, it was kinda fun since we have not been to redbox for quite some time.

At around 8pm, the 4 of us(me, mone, kp, flo) went for dinner at Winter Warmers. the music was so loud and we started lip synced along with the music with mone taking a video of us. makan makan then we went to  gHotel to pee. me and kp were pulling the other two of them there cos' they're scared they might be shooed away by the guards. went to the ladies and started vaining inside. kp and mone are having all the pictures but belum upload yet.

left Gurney at 10pm and it was so jammed right from the multi-storey carpark. kp n mone taught me how to cut queue. so here's a tip that mone gave me: Raise your hand as a gesture to ask permission from the driver of the lane you wish to go into and he will let u do it! it really WORKS =P

Chit chat the whole way back. dropped mone first at greenlane heights and should've headed back to greenlane but we(kp n i) got lost on our way back. we really have very POOR sense of direction man! we drove till the road to farlim then later have to made a U-turn at the batu lanchang skol punya entrance. oh boy...

~the END~

Iced peach tea from Winter Warmers. it was quite sweet and refreshing.
no pictures of our main dishes coz' it wasn't really good

P.S. people remember the lady Gaga's song? Mum Mum mum Mah..P-P-P-Poker face...

I HAD FUN YESTERDAY =)

back to INTI with my two carpooling buddies

Today was the first time after our HSC exams that Kp, Ange and myself went back to Inti together. fetched the two of them at about 7.50am. three of us shared stories during the whole journey to Inti. We brought our textbooks to college for the secondhand book sale, very bad response. kar pei and ange, we shouldn't have gone so early.. then fetched them home like what i used to do. Ange said something like that, " ahyo i missed college lar, the wednesday eat-outs etc but not the studying part la." Totally agree with you =)

i knew about the sale the night before, so i packed my books till 2am yesterday and woke up 6.35 this morning! that's very early okay...
i was rather reluctant to sell my books and notes away coz a lot of effort has been put into doing the notes.
hence, i took some pictures of all my post-it(it's called 'bian li die' in mandarin..haha) that i removed from my books and some other pictures

all these came from my BS, physics and chem textbooks as i used to write the questions i wished to ask and stick them on the books

all the additional analysis that Ms Kam shared with us... Oxymoron, paradox, antithesis, metonymy..still remember the terms, HSC people? =)

Decisions made

yup, I've chosen my degree course
 Econs in Uni of Queensland
Friends and family start asking why I chose this
the question i dislike the most
Can't reply them that I'm interested in Econs cos' I didn't take this subject in HSC
Some warned me that it's difficult
Some commented that it's interesting
So what should I expect of Econs next year??
......
My expectations: Econs is difficult(hopefully i can cope) yet interesting(hopefully i will love it )

Applications and accommodation at International House around 90% complete
just have to keep paying deposits & fees...

...future...

My future is so vague
I don't see myself at any particular place in 5 years time
I may just take the 3-yr degree Econs course(since the career prospect is quite good) and decide what i would want to do after that?
not exposed to this subjects previously so,
if I start to like it, then it will be good for me
if I have no interest at all, i will have to bare with it for the 3 years
really don't know what i want
don't have a particular passion
It's so difficult to decide
HATE it
wonders how some of my friends already found their interest/ambitions
while I'm still lost
although we are all of the same age
starting to ask myself who i really am
seriously, i don't really know who i am
Only know that i am a girl who got quite good results in HSC so now have the chance to choose my courses but don't know which course to choose.

PATHETIC

super short KL trip plus 3 celebrities in 3 days

is and I followed eileen and her mummy to kl for a so called shopping trip on dec9 and 10th.

9th Dec, 8.15am: we took Aeroline bus there at 8.30am on dec9. right after my mum dropped us off at Queensbay, i found out the zip on my7 pants SPOILT. so aunty and I went to the QB toilet only to find out that the toilet was closed. so what to do? we went to one corner, checked for CCTVs and i changed there. luckily nobody was there. problem solved.=) enjoyed the bus ride to kl as we're sitting at the first row of the upper deck. it was fun. had nasi lemak from Ayamas for breakfast.

2pm till 10pm: lunch at Madam Kwan's and then shopping began. first we headed to mid valley then later walked across to The Gardens. upon coming out from the toilet, i saw someone who looks familiar. He was tall, fair, and had really good complexion. he walked by us and i told Eileen " isn't him the guy from 8tv's 'A cup of love'? who is he? Henry, Jason??we have difficulty recalling his name. my aunty was so excited that she even called her friend to ask for his name. on the way out towaards The Gardens, sis said " eh  Alan Wun sitting there!"  I was like "who is that? where? where?" so there he was, Alan Yun (not Wun ler, sis) chilling out with his friends. again my aunty was star struck. it was damn funny. the four of us were kept turning back to look at him! LOLOL.

took a cab to bintang walk at bout 5 something. went to sungei wang, Lot10. they bought some clothes from there.later not knowing what to eat there, the four of us walked to Pavilion for dinner at Hakka Chinese Cuisine. shop shop and went back around 10. legs were super tired.

10th Dec, 10.30am: checked out from hotel, left our bags at the concierge and walked to KLCC. initially we said that we are not going to buy anything from Padini but ended up buying the most from there. later bought some at ROMP also. lunch was at Du Viet Vietnamese restaurant.

3.00pm: walked back to the hotel for the bus back to penang. they gave us my fav Subway snadwich for snack. reached home at bout 8.15pm.

11th dec: went for a wedding buffet dinner at relative's hse. Met Marion Caunter!!! wanted to ask for a picture with her but paiseh la. she is the bride's friend and they are both ex-CGLians! i'm so proud of my alma mater =)

so here are pictures of the celebrities we met in the 3 days

the first local celebrity we met: Duncan Lim

the 2nd artist: Alan Yun

the 3rd: Marion Caunter

dec 15, 16 or 17?

my mind was all filled with worries
this whole morning
thinking that  "HSC results coming out tmr!"
posted on fb: "i don't want to go to INTI tmr"
had lunch and onlined again
took a glance at the calendar
"eh, tmr is only 15thdec..."
" results will be out on wednesday, not tomorrow la"
suddenly my friend asked
"hey michelle, do we need to go to college tml?"
i replied
no no, i made a mistake
he said
" i was shocked when i saw your post"
finally we both agreed that we only need to go back to college on Thursday dec 17th

see, this is what happened when your mind is so dense with all the worries and negative thoughts. gosh, i worried for nothing today when i'm only supposed to get scared tomorrow night. Of all days, why do we get to know our results on dec 16th..it's my mum's birthday! if i obtained good results, then it will be good lar..but what if it's the opposite? maybe i should just check my results on the 17th of dec...

IELTS

IELTS prep course + exams = FUN

okay the exam part was just okay, not exactly FUN.. but the prep course course at Brittish Council was fun =). the reasons?
well, it was the first time being taught by 'ang moh' teachers ( Emma, Emily and Simon- You guys are great). they have great sense of humour. some of you might say they would of course treat you well cos' we have paid for it but to me, i guessed it was worth paying the fee to attend the course. secondly, I had got great compliments from them for my essays which made me real happy. meeting people from different backgrounds whom many were older me. Mehdi from Iraq, someone from Yemen, Kenny who is studying in Uni of Tasmania, Sin Yi a friendly working lady from Butterworth, Nazrin JPA scholar, Maziah a nice kakak to me, Yin Huey from Taiping the other girl who is also 18 like me and some others. the short course lasted from 1st Dec to 4th Dec,  6pm-9.15pm.

Exam 5 Dec 2009
the night before, came back from class, ate supper, went through my papers till 1am. next morning.  was awake by 5.30am but toss around on the bed till 6.15am.
headed straight to Cititel Hotel by 7.30am.
Registration started at 8am. Given a small piece with my name, candidate no, ID, and 1st language code printed on it. my candidate number was 000777. what a nice number =) my speaking test was scheduled at 4.50pm! wth Got to wait for such a long period after finishing the rest of the papers.

Exam ( Listening, Reading and Writing) started at about 9.15am and ended around 12 noon. it was freezing cold inside. part of my brain and hands were half-frozen already. To those who are planning to take the exam, do rememeber to bring along your sweaters. Like HSC exams, time management was relly crucial. My HSC friend Li Chen was there too so we went out for lunch together since her speaking test was scheduled at 5.10pm.

Returned to the hotel and both of us sat there doing nothing, almost bored to death. Sms-ed janice and mone coz too bored d. told them there's a tall and good-looking ang moh guy. Jan replied telling me to concentrate in my exams. hahaha. suddenly he came and stand opposite us, i was like " go and stand other places ler" i don't know where i should look. LOL. Later the teacher called the guy and li chen and I were shocked as he was actually not an ang moh. his name was elija sadam. probably from the Middle East. sweat case right?  typical me...

waited till like 3.50 for the speaking test. i was the second last. saw the uncle who supplies books to CGL and he recognised me. his wife was one of the examiner! so coincidentally, i was examined by her. trying my best to recall the questions.
Part 1:  asked for my full name, where i was from, any sports played, erm can't remember the rest
Part 2: Questioon on the prompt card: what course would you like to take if you have the time? well, i did a practice in British Council on that similar question so i was able to answer the question, but still had some long pauses. ish. of course i replied a course on baking and cooking! hehehe..
Part 3: more general questions and opinions eg. do you think those who are guided by teachers will be more successful than those those are home-schooling?
the entire exam was pretty smooth except having to write and think as fast i could in a freezing cold hall!
~the End~

left hotel at about 4.45pm. bathed and headed to Kampachi in Equatorial Hotel  for japanese buffet for family gathering which at the same time served as my post-IELTS celebration. lotza pictures taken and had a fun night.

IELTS Prep Course

this week, i'm occupied with my IELTS classes which start at 6pm and ends at 9.15pm from Tuesday to Friday..and saturday will be my EXAM!! shooot...
the first two classes were rather enjoyable as the ang moh teachers have been very nice and funny. the people i met there were very nice as well, no hot guys though...LOL. i'm the youngest in the class with 2 of my other classmates while the rest are in their 20's, 30's, 40's well maybe one in his 50's. and most of them are going to Australia! why is Aussie so popular??
hope i will enjoy the rest of the classes, focus in class and do well in my exam coz i've spent so much money in it!  since i don't get to go to Evan Yo's music showcase on Friday already, i might as well just forget about it and try my best in the exam.

Forget about the shocase but not the singer.. so here's a song i would love my fellow readers to listen to:
Evan Yo: 你看不到的天空 (ni kan bu dao de tian kong)

Ocean Green Restaurant

Location: 48F, Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah, 10050 Penang (It is hidden from the main road, behind the old Paramount Hotel)
Tel No: 04-2262681

Serves lunch and dinner but usually my family goes there for dinner..So what's nice there? Lotza yummy dishes.. sadly, i do not have great photography skills so i had to use pics from other websites along with some of my not-so-nice shots of the dishes. Of course we ate all those dishes on separate visits, not all at once....

Four Season

Shark's Fins Soup

Crab with Salted Egg ( the prawns with salted egg is recommended too)

Spring Chicken

Geoduck and 'Dong Gui" soup( along with some green veges, shitake mushrooms, tofu)
- We ate geoduck without knowing what it actually was, so i Googled and found that it was actually a type of clam..a gigantic one...the testure of the meat was chewy and frnakly i don't really like it..it's like a sort of exotic food to us but it was a nice try!! however, THUMbS UP for the soup, it was very very nice and fragrant!!!

Two Flavour Fish ( part of it was deep-fried and the other part was stir-fried)

 Cheese-baked Crab (my all-time favourite)

called "Siong Thong Heng Cai" in Hokkien...a type of vege with soup filled with dried scallops and sautéed garlic cloves)

Crab stir-fried with mihun ( the mihun has taken up all the sweetness of the crab, NICE! would be nicer if the mihun is a bit more moist)

Steamed Tapioca with Coconut milk ( it was yummy but we ate that once only, a few years back coz they don't serve this often)

Only 4 out of the 10 pics were taken by me due to my horrible photo-taking)
therefore, credits go to all these bloggers and websites:

Eileen Eu, my dear cousin who takes much much better shots than i do
Eileen's Mummy, my ah chim who blogs quite a lot about food

visit to the Doktor GiGI

i'm supposed to post this last week but delayed due to the blogger's laziness..
i've not been going to the dentist like for the last 2 years because of my braces. so went with mum on last wednesday. the clinic pun sudah pindah to another place. the nurse could still recognize me though as  i've been going there ever since i was about 7 years old.
did scaling and polishing which cost me rm155! but he has really good skills and i trust only him to do my teeth...only if he practises orthodontics, i wouldn't have gone to that Looi Orthodontics. One conclusion i can  make of a dentist's job: they need to  really take good care of their hands! =)
while waiting for my mum, i had nothing better to do than taking pictures of the place..Hahaha! oh one more thing, of all places, i met my Hsc friend Wen Zhen in the clinic! and it seems she still has a few milk teeth!

the entrance and the waiting area..it's quite small though

the reflection on the mirror, that's me! vaining =)

Cheese Tarts

i've successfully attempted baking cheese tarts! woohoo! the self-satisfaction was just overwhelming...

Here's a look at the cheese tarts i've  made..

You can get the recipe from auntyyochana's strawberry cheesetarts.i followed all the measurements given coz it was my first time baking tarts) can make 60 tartlets (it depends on the thickness of the crust) however, mine was coffee and kiwi not strawberry coz i dun have the strawberry jam. you can actually use other jams or can even use fresh fruits if you like.

as for mine, to make the kiwi puree, you just need to smash the kiwi, put it in a pan, add icing sugar( depends on how sweet you want it to be), let it simmer, add some corn flour, simmer and it's done!
as for the marble effect, you just need to put a drop of the coffee mixture( make sure it's not too diluted), use a fork or skewer and swirl around. if you have any doubts, feel free to ask me =)

sounds simple right? it took me almost the whole day from 2pm till 8pm to complete baking and washing up everything. my legs hurt like mad after baking 'cos i was standing most of the time. but i'm  very satisfied as i did everything by myself (yes that includes the cleaning part which i hate the most) That was the first day after my exams that i did not laze in front of that idiot box! the compliments like "yummy", "nice" from those who have tasted my tarts encourage me to keep on baking!

all in all, it was a day well spent!
more posts on cookies, cupcakes in the next few weeks =)

save the planet!

i have never expect myself to watch MJ's "This Is It" because i was never a crazy fan of his. i did not really watch his funeral event or download his songs. however, there are songs which i have been listening to through the radio ever since i was young- "I'll be there", "Heal the World", "Man in the Mirror" to name a few. i've been noticing some instant fans which he gained right after his death which to my opinion, are just superficials. they become MJ's fan because everybody is talking about him, everybody is buying his CDs, everybody is praising how good his moves are on stage. my 8-year old cousin was one of them. she has been asking me whether i know this song and that song, mostly to which i said i have never listened before. then i asked her "Girl, do u know who Michael Jackson is when's he's alive?". she replied "No". to reassure, i asked her again "So u only know him  after he is dead lah?" "yes."she replied. see, one solid evidence of MJ's instant fan. i know who is MJ even before you were born and now you're testing me whether i know his songs or not? of course, i did not say that to her coz that would be so rude.=) they become fans without even knowing who MJ actually is.

Ok back to the movie. before we went in, i was hesitant whether i would doze off inside the cinema or not. actually we weren't keen to watch that movie but i think one of our friends insisted so the 11 of us just followed. to my surprise, the movie was actually not that bad. the background dancers were great! they must have been so proud with themselves to be able to dance for Michael. thay are the best among the best! NO JOKE.
i thought Michael would be a very fussy person to work with due to the negative image of him in my mind. again, i was wrong. he expresses the things he wants in a polite way, makes sure his musicians get the message, and one good thing...he will say "God Bless you" to his musicians when they managed to reach his expectations.

the last part was the best. 'Coz he sends the message of saving the environment to all his viewers. i feel that he is really sincere in his words. he said that it begins with US to SAVE the PLANET. makes perfect sense right? of course it makes sense. i guessed it is the environmentally-conscious side of him which develops my sense of respect for him. MJ, may you rest in peace.

so people, every tiny step you take will have a huge a impact on the planet! it is all up to you to choose wheter you want to SAVE your beloved PLANET or to KILL it. among the simple things you can do are:
1. say no to plastic bags when you're given one ( you are definitely killing the planet if you can't even do this)
2. use GREEN bags when grocery shopping
3. reduce and recycle
if, you're not doing any of these three simpliest effort, you are definitely killing the Planet!

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Exam free

my blog has been dead for months...so the blogger is now back!

I've just finished my last HSC paper today and it was not good. In fact, there is none of the papers that i did which i can say "okay". wished i had put in more effort, wished i had not done my revision at the eleventh hour, wished the exams were not that soon, etc...Could not turn back time. What is done is done. At least when i was doing my last minute revision, I've tried to cut down on my tv time and sleeping time. oh i listened to Laala's advice and stayed out of Facebook! but i could not refrain myself from tv, i just can't do it! that's frustrating. that's why i have to sleep at 2.30am almost every night coz' i just can't focus in studies in the afternoon *that's because of the idiot box- TV * yes TV is an idiot box according to my former Math teacher, Miss Lee.*

I have been very much like the above over the last 3 weeks.

Disrupted sleeping time, stress, affected me mentally and physically. the erupting pimples on my face is the obvious consequence of stress. gosh, it keeps growing and it really lowers my self-esteem. ergh. my stomach also went haywire. One minute perfectly fine and the next minute it hurts until i couldn't even stand up straight. stomach upset-that's one symptom of stress too. had mouth ulcers too which made me uncomfortable one whole week. thank god i did not fall sick during these 3 weeks, so the extra vitamin C-kiwis, oranges, veges, cups of nutrient drinks, consuming lots of fish protein proved effective to boost my immune system. =)

exams... it's all OVER for NOW!

i 've been preparing a long list of stuff i would want to do after this grueling period. Until now, i already have 27 things i want to do, the list is going to be endless...my top priority is to regain my beauty sleep. but for now I'm going to sit in front of the IDIOT BOX...lol=) Bye!

p.s. Just one little thing to share with all of you you... do you know that STRESSED is actually DESSERTS spelled backwards??

another enjoyable outing

should i go? or should i stay at home and study? indecisive..but at last, i went out with my two buddies to gp. drove home, bathed and mone drove us there. all of us were so hungry cos we haven't eat our lunch yet. ended up in Seoul Garden coz according to ms simone, it's cheap wor. it was my first time at seoul garden but not for the two of them. mone said "you very sampat". i do admit that coz i seldom kai kai in gurney one. i even thought that the jar of soup is a jar of drinks! then she taught me how to put the chicken on the sizzling hot plate so that the oil won't do the 'jumping action'. but still my hands kena the oil many times and i kept pulling my hands away like a crazy person. since our show is at 5.40, we stayed there for about one and an half hours.

then we went for the show lo..all of us was so smelly, full of the barbecue smell, luckily nobody realised that..watched "The Ugly Truth". at the beginning, we were about to doze off as we were all super tired already. wah, the show too "educational" already..should have spent my rm8 on a better movie. then we headed to coffee bean, jocelyn n mone brought along their notebooks so they're busy surfing the net..luckily, i had something to do too..mone's iPhone! the games were so fun, if i were to have that phone, i will not have time to study already! so thankfully, i only have a totally-unsophisticated nokia. lol=)

went back at about 9pm..then chit chat the whole way back. glad that i chose to go coz i Had a great day! too bad we didn't take pictures..too bad janice can't follow us this time. Never mind, there's always another time in the future!

Colour of the Day: Pink = romantic, charming, it represents sugar and spice and everything nice

so little time, so much to do

I've been surfing the net for 5 hours now and still have not found a text suitable for me esl assignment.. like what Ms Kam said " very paik chek." It is very time-consuming! Why is ESl so tough? i bet IELTS is way easier that THIS! Gosh, geramnya.. so much homework undone- chemistry, never ending Math Ext1, upcoming physics past years......
5 more weeks to finals..5 weeks ONLY...time has been passing by super fast this year like a bolt of lightning that strikes during a thunderstorm (practising the use of hyperbole) I am still undecided of next year, not knowing which course to apply for, whether i still wanna stay in Malaysia or going somewhere else??? so many things to consider.. paik chek!!!

Quote of the Day: Paik Chek = under tremendous pressure

the doomed week

first day of the week and i got back my trial results for 4 out of the 5 papers. wah, really teruklo! Math and Extension 1 were horrible. Math, my only hope of getting a Band 6 *poof* GONE. Didn't really do well for BS as well as compared to the highest marks of 96. Actually all my marks were not very well cos' the highest marks were like 96, 97, 98... My results fall under the okay-okay average category. English was the worse coz' i lost a lot of marks due to unfinished essays and answers. But Ms Kam said as long as in the external exam, if the examiners like our essays then they'll give us the band 6. she even said she has confidence in us. i was like, " Ms Kam, please don't have such high hopes on us. We might disappoint you like what happened in our trials results." Physics was a bit disappointing. Surprisingly, i didn't receive the 'screaming gift' from Laala though i didn't do well in Chemistry. Hahaha..However, i wasn't really like superX1000 devastated with my results. guessed it's because I've already expected this kind of results and didn't really expect much

My predictions for my results were rather accurate unlike some whose predictions are totally inaccurate and merely reacting as if they're gonna fail their papers.
Once my friend asked me what i got and i said " very low ler..." but it turns out that she got a lower marks than me..see..your definition of 'low' may mean 'high' for another person. However it will be a whole different story if you added the phrase "low marks-way below my expectations". Okay, this is just a piece of advice to all of you including MYSELF because i do that at times too=) Janice scolded me for that before...hahaha!!

Here's a pastry for those who have a sweet tooth:
Pastry of the Day: MACAROONS...super sweet, light, comes in many flavours- rosewater, coffee, chocolate, strawberry, almond etc

recap of the week

ok my week started kinda boring and slow but from Wednesday onwards, I've been going out..that's good.

Monday&Tuesday: sleep and TV series(i apparently just sat in front of the TV and just kept watching regardless of what TV show)

Wednesday: went out with kp and ange..G.I.Joe damn nice! so canggih. bought a new sandals at last! mission accomplished

Thursday: first time drove alone to disted. raining and digi was down on that day. made me nervous nia. but everything turned out well and had lunch in kfc with hy, jan, ht, charmaine, regina and sui ming. the shrimp stix was like super small as compared to the ones in the ads

Friday: whole day movie marathon "why why love"(huan huan ai) though this show was released last year. like may yee said that I'm outdated. gosh. I'm in love with the 3 characters in the drama. i cried like a mad girl for the last few episodes. being so obsessed, i went to youtube and watched all the-behind-the-scenes and found out that mike he jun xiang is such a good actor..watched a total of 10hours of the drama

Saturday: badminton with mone, jan and joe..paid rm16 for a 2-hr court but ended up playing for one hour only. sat there and chat and later went to oldtown chat again. reminisced our prefects' camp experience and my din-wear-ahem. LOL. finished the drama series. SUPERB! then msn shu hui told me she also prefer taiwan dramas to hk dramas cos the heroin in the taiwanese dramas always gets to choose between the two super hot heros..Hk dramas more realistic and they don't always have happy endings. so people, watched taiwanese "ou xiang ju"(idol-typed dramas) if you wanna seek for relaxation during your holidays!

Sunday: no mood cos whole body ache(after playing badminton), kept thinking of my undone esl homework and was having the back-to-school blues..to make myself stop thinking, i slept..see, this is a very good example of a pig.

Tmr: have to attend some praying ceremony for the hungry ghost month..hope my mood will be recover tmr though unlikely..

Out of the 15 things i've planned to do, i managed to do approx 12. very good!!! one more day before i start my miserable doomed week...

don't SMS while driving

i received an email about a case concerning the consequences of " Driving while in-TEXT-icated". the 18 year-old girl was driving at 70 mph and hit a car. BADLY. Then this email also contains photos of the little boy(in the car) who had to undergo surgery for multiple skull fractures as a result of the accident. both his eyes were blue black and the stitches could even form a curve from one side of his ear to the other ear. but after 5 days he could actually move and even watch movies with his iPod. Luckily, he managed to become a normal person after some time without any disabilities.

Seeing the smile on his face was just so inspiring. it shall serve as a reminder to me when I'm driving so that i would not be like the 18 year-old girl. How would you feel if you actually cause someone's death just because you can't resist SMS-ing? For me, I think i would feel guilty for the rest of my life. SMS-ing while driving only puts yourself and other road users at danger. If you yourself got injured or badly damaged because of your action, you have no one to blame but yourself cos' you have to face the consequences of your reckless action. but wouldn't it be unfair for others to lose their lives because of you? while accidents due to poor road and weather conditions something you cannot avoid, choosing not to SMS while driving is definitely something you can CONTROL.

There's one more thing which all of us can control while driving- SPEED. we young drivers tend to have this ego issue when we drive like the " syiok feeling" after we potong a car etc.. i admit i had this feeling before but not anymore now. Why do we have to drive so fast? What will you lose if you drive a little slower? you can still reach your destination at last. So people, drive at a moderate speed and let other drivers potong you especially when you have friends with you in your car..their lives are in your control.. One more important advise that my mum always tells me is " Never Hesitate when You Drive".

Stay FOCUS while Driving

Post-exam

trials is finally O.V.E.R. it was tough for me cos' i only did a "separuh jalan" preparation. so during this whole week of exam, i was sleep-deprived and stress-overloaded. 4 hours of sleep everyday but of course i had my usual afternoon naps. to compare to some of my friends who barely slept during this whole week, 4 hours is actually a lot already..i salute u guys! Angelin you're one of them! =)
It started off with English and it was...(totally p.i) Tuesday was the worst for me.(but it did not make the other 4 days any better though) Chemistry and Business on that very same day! I had no appetite to eat at all. i practically wrote "separuh jalan"punya kualiti of essays for Ms Sara. As for Chemistry, I'm already hearing Lala's voice scolding me " haiyoh! How come u get so low?!" I was facing difficulties even in Maths, so needless to say about Math Extension1.
Well, i can say that i actually ruined my last chance to improve my grades before the external papers. Crap! Why didn't i start revising earlier? Why am I always a last-minute person?
i have no one to blame but myself. we may continue grumbling about how we cannot finish revising or how we ended up staring blankly at the questions but deep inside, i know that it's my own mistake.
but trials is now over and it's now SEMESTER BREAK! hurray! need some time-out..

i always tell myself that i cannot go 'kai kai' for so long, " must come back in 2 hours time but every time when i fo out with my friends, i will like go out 'til 4-5 hours..it's like almost impossible for me to go for a just-lunch-and-go-home outing with friends. today, after our MS finals, we went to GP to celebrate pn cheah's bday..again, i said earlier on that we'll(me, kp, ange) go and makan then go and study already since trials is like so freaking near! so we went at 1130 directly from inti and we reached home at 4.50pm! see, it's an impossible thing for me..but it was so fun! vaining with our cameras cos' miss vainpot, miss tracia kam was there too.. then me and kp bought some hair cuffs from fourskin. the bag has very cute words on it..
